Oh, yes. Merry Christmas. Sorry for the delay; the Russians don't celebrate Christmas until January, so it didn't really occur to me at the time that it was Christmas.

Why do the Russians celebrate Christmas in January?
As I understand, Russia didn't adopt the Gregorian calendar until 1918, which was after the Russian revolution, and therefore, the adoption of atheism as the state religion. I guess that means that nobody got around to updating Christmas on the calendar.
